Photographing swim meets is a lot of fun. There is plenty of movement to be captured. One of the best parts about swimming is that it is predictable - you know where competitors are going and you can anticipate their movements and speed. Its rare to have someone foul your shot if you are poolside - you are more likely to get splashed. In the summer months you benefit from bright sunshine that allows for faster shutter speeds, lower ISOs, and tight apertures.
